Great replacement for air tires
Worked perfect for my generator.
Used them for my 20" mclane reel mower to replace the 2 outside rear. They work perfect. I bought for the 5/8 shaft and 8" wheel. They work great. Really smooth and cheaper than the actual mclane wheels.
For years, I wheeled a 35 - gallon trash bin with its original plastic wheels and all of my neighbors knew exactly when I was taking out the trash because of the long driveway. It sounded like a thunderstorm rolling in. I had to always take out the trash at certain times so I wouldn't wake up the baby next door or wake up neighbors too early or too late. The project itself was SUPER EASY except for the axle cap nuts which needed to be removed in order to take off the original wheels and free the axle. I tried to squeeze the cap with a wrench on either side of the small wedges and pry it off but no luck. Tried using a flathead, tried using a larger flathead, tried chiseling it off. In the end, it took a crowbar -- still with effort -- to get those things off. Now, with the 8" solid rubber wheels with 5/8" axle bore (I made the mistake of getting a half inch bore initially) and 2 inch width, I am running stealth. It gives the bin a little more weight at the base too so it doesn't topple over while I'm rolling it, either. No worries of a flat tire, or scaring the villagers of the wrath of Thor.
Well made, doing a great job.
