Made in China. These lawnmower blades are a perfect upgrade for my Toro TimeCutter and shred the grass into much smaller pieces so that it doesn't build up as easily outside of the grass chute. The blades are each approximately 17.5" long, have a .640" round hole in the middle, and are approximately .196" thick. The edge of the blade on these is not going to win any sharpness competitions out of the box, so I would probably throw a bit more of an edge on them myself before installing them on the saw. The three blades together probably weigh close to 15 lbs and are very substantial and they appear to have a thick black paint coating on them to prevent rusting.

I picked up these mower blades for my Toro S5060 with the 50" deck, and they've exceeded my expectations. At first, I was a little unsure because the ends have noticeably more lift than the OEM blades. But once I looked closer, I realized the blade has a built?in curve that brings the cutting height right in line with the stock blades, so there's no risk of hitting the deck. I just raise the deck one notch when mowing and everything lines up perfectly.The build quality really impressed me. The finish is clean and consistent, and the blades are noticeably thicker and stronger than the originals. The aggressive mulching teeth on the ends make a big difference—grass clippings get chopped up finely, and the lawn looks great afterward with no clumps left behind. The center hole size matches the OEM blades exactly, so installation was simple and secure.Overall, these are a solid upgrade for anyone running a 50" Toro deck.

Summary:The Gicool mulching blades are nice beefy mulching blades that work well on my modified Cub Cadet mower. They are 1/3rd the price of the OEM blades and made with thicker metal. The production quality is very nice. Fit and finish is nearly perfect. A great value that cut and mulch grass really well. I'm very pleased so far!Meat and Taters:I received the Gicool 3-blade set of mulching blades for my '22 Cub Cadet LT50. The Cub came with a proprietary S-shaped hole pattern for the blades that made finding a higher quality non-OEM blade impossible. The stock blades are not made for country usage. They are are made with lightweight metal, barely 3mm thick, and bend with any stick or small thicket hit. On my previous mower I ran a 6.5mm thick Oregon blade set that lasted for the entire 25yr life of the mower.On my Cub, I removed the S embossed flange from the spindles using my metal lathe so now I can run standard 5/8" round bore blades. I do have a set of 6.5mm thick Oregon blades that work well on the Cub but they are not mulching style blades. I was glad to find this set of Gicool mulching blades that are very nicely made and 5mm thick. A nice heavy duty set! I did have to grind the length down 2mm from each end on a radial jig to match the desired overall length. I then also rebalanced them and sharpened the cutting edge. While griding them, I noticed the blade steel is not tempered as hard as the Oregon blades, so I'm skeptical they will hold an edge quite as long, but we'll see.The Gicool blades mounted up great on my mower deck and cut very well. The sound level from the blades was typical and not overly loud. Deck vibration was minimal. Very nice! I mowed a couple acres of rolling hills wooded area grass that was getting pretty tall with all the rain here in Eastern KS this spring. I hit a few branches and thicket stumps and they didn't bend or even knick the blades. I was really impressed they so finely mulched the heavy grass with the mulcher plug installed without any signs of bogging down. The cut was clean and even. So far, I'm very pleased with the Gicool 3-blade set! I would recommend them!

My grass gets overgrown very quickly here in Florida, so I wanted to try some mulching blades on my Toro SS5000. These blades arrived and appeared to be quality, heavy blades that were nicely nested and wrapped. Seemed like a good value for the investment. But when I compared them to my current blades, you can see that there is a dip in the middle of these mulching blades where my original blades are flat. It was obvious that I would need to raise my deck in order for these to work or risk scalping my yard. Well, since my deck is already at its highest setting, I could not accommodate these blades. They appear to be well made and likely durable and the mulching would be great, but they aren't for my mower. I take away one star because they are not an exact replacement for [****] blades.
