Very durable, they look sleet and clean by you. They are heavy duty weight. The fit is perfect and very functional.
I recently purchased the GICOOL 405380 Lawn Mower Blades as a backup set for my 46" Husqvarna riding mower, and they have certainly met expectations. Perfect Fit & Compatibility The dimensions and mounting holes align exactly with the original equipment. Most importantly, they fit the star pattern on the spindle perfectly, ensuring a secure and hassle - free installation. Quality Construction These blades are crafted from high - quality steel, which suggests great durability. Because of the material quality, they should offer a long service life since they can be easily sharpened when they begin to dull. The Verdict: Whether you need an immediate replacement or want a reliable backup set while the mowing season is in full bloom, these blades are an excellent choice.
These GICOOL 405380 Lawn Mower Blades are a direct replacement for several different makes and models of lawnmowers. The blades match the description and are heavy, durable, and have the same thickness and sturdiness of the OEM blades. After removing the labels, one blade weighed 1132.5 grams and was balanced perfectly. The other blade weighed 1119.3 grams and was out of balance; so, to keep vibration down, I had to remove some material from one end of that blade to balance it before installation.I especially like the sharpness of the cutting edges, and I like the rust resistant coating.Installation is simple and took me about twenty minutes. After removing the old blades, line up the star pattern, insert the bolt, tighten the bolt to the required torque specification. My application is a Husqvarna YTA22V46. The blades fit perfectly and performed flawlessly. I cut approximately a quarter of an acre using these blades and the grass was level and cut evenly. The lift on the blades expelled the vegetation out of the deck with ease.Due to having to remove a slight bit of material, my rating would be four and a half stars if it was an option but I think they are better than only four stars so I am giving them five stars. This blade set is a good value and a great performer after making sure they are balanced.
The GICOOL 405380 lawn mower blade is a solid, well?made replacement for the old blade on my Husqvarna riding mower. The 5?point star mounting hole was an exact match - you can see it clearly in the side?by?side comparison. The fins look slightly different from my original blade (which I assume affects lift a bit), but performance is still to be evaluated once spring arrives in a couple of months. One important note: as described and based on the fin design, this is a high?lift blade, not a mulching blade. Make sure you choose the right style depending on what you want to accomplish.Overall, it's a sturdy, well?built blade that fits perfectly. Looking forward to testing it out once mowing season starts.
These blades are very nice OEM replacement blades. At 22 7/8 inches by 2 3/4 inches wide they have exact specs as OEM except might weigh slightly more than OEM at 5lbs for the pair. The high lift bend is well defined with excellent height. Perfect fit for my deck but I won't actually use until spring arrives. They balanced perfectly on my blade balancer and came already sharpened so I expect they will function exactly as they should. I'm sure these will perform as well as or better than OEM. Excellent value at less than half the cost of OEM.
I bought a used Husqvarna riding mower from a friend who was having trouble getting it started. Rather than mess with it, he just bought a new mower. His loss, my gain.I dropped in a new battery, did a tune - up, overhauled the carb, and got it running great. Then I pulled the blades to sharpen them—and honestly couldn't believe what I was looking at. This mower had clearly run over everything except grass. Rocks, sticks, maybe a small meteor— the blades were absolutely beat senseless.I did my best to sharpen them, but let's be honest—there was only so much saving to be done.I replaced them with this new blade set, and now the mower feels loved again.A few things I noticed right away:These blades are wider and thicker than the originals, so they're definitely heavier. I don't see that as a problem once they're spinning, as long as they're balanced. The description says the lift is similar to the factory blades, but I'd bet it's actually a little better. The originals had two smaller fins, while these have one much larger fin. I don't use a bagger so it's all good. The 5 - point star mounting hole was an exact match, and installation was quick and painless. The real test for me is leaf chopping. I primarily use my riding mower to mulch and collect leaves—otherwise I'd be dealing with an absurd number of bags every fall. Even with a quick test, these blades absolutely obliterated the leaves, and they seemed to do it at least as well as (if not better than) the original blades ever did. And that's not surprising, considering how destroyed the old cutting edges were. I should mention—the cutting edge on these new blades was razor sharp—before they coated them with enamel or whatever it is. The product description says it wears off with use. Maybe it's not a big deal, but I busted out a hand file and used it to remove just a bit of that coating to expose the sharp metal edge.Overall, these were an easy win. Solid build, perfect fit, and noticeably better performance. If your mower blades have seen better days, this is a very satisfying upgrade.
Tuff and sharp
My new go to blade. Awesome cut
Fit fine easy to put on
I think thesel are beafier than the original ones
The part sent did not fit my riding lawnmower. The product appeared to be a quality part, and it was advertised as a fit for my lawnmower. The center locking part of the blade did not match.
As good as any other blades. They were balanced right out of the box. No need to balance them
Fit fine as expected and appear to be high quality blades.Caution note during installation... Make sure the blade star pattern is correctly engaged with the mower spindle star because not getting the blade seated properly can be dangerous and result in ruining the deck spindle where the blade is mounted. This is not a blade problem but rater one of improper installation.
After working in a small engine repair shop for years these blades are meant they're good they're balanced there's no shaking made at a great steel perfect replacement for my rider definitely recommend
so far these seem well built only Mowed with them once but around 3 acres mowed giving them 5 stars for now will update later with more detailed review
Great product for the price price
Fit perfect, good price
Got them in a very short time. Good quality. Will buy again.
Poulan mowers were discontinued several years ago, taken over by Husqvarna, so there is usually some "wondering" if parts are always compatible. This blade set proved to be just fine and an exact fit for a Poulan PPX46Z.Blades were easy to install (taking about 20 minutes) and fit as they should with no play in mounting to the spindle. The blades are as sturdy as any other replacement blades I have used over the years. No vibration issues after installing. The current price of $23 is comparable to other listing and is slightly better than some others. Blades mount and function as they should - no complaints.
I picked up this 2-pack of GICOOL 405380 blades for a 46" Husqvarna deck, and they've been a great fit. The 5?star mounting pattern lines up exactly like the OEM setup, and installation is quick -- no wobble, no balancing issues, just bolt them on and go.The blades feel sturdy with a good weight to them, and the cutting edges come sharp right out of the box. Once installed, the mower cuts clean and even, with noticeably better lift and discharge compared to worn?out stock blades.
