It's my mistake for failing to install it correctly. The tire just won't hold air and goes flat nonstop because I didn't get a proper seal during fitting.
The lawn friendly tread pattern was exactly what is needed to be able to mow lawn without damaging the turf. This is what I ordered, and this is what I received.
looks good & fit
Great product
I'm actually really pleased with these, so far anyway.I'm sorta cheating - I have a residential zero turn (Husqvarna 46") that came with 18.5x8.5 - 8 tires. It's a great mower, particularly if you have a dead flat yard. I don't, and traction has always been an issue. Plus, I was never able to get the blade height as high as I wanted it. I had to run the tire pressure fairly high to get the blade up, and that cost what little traction I had.I figured I'd chance it, and I bought these in 20x10 - 8. They fit on the original wheels, although not without some serious effort. I ended up taking them to a place near me that's a National seller of Tires and Batteries, and they were able to seat these for me in short order.I mounted the wheels back up, and didn't have a lot of clearance between the tire and the mower frame, which I sort of anticipated. I ordered some golf cart wheel spacers from . Those fit right on, and bought me the extra clearance I needed. Now I can run these tires at a lower pressure (10psi) and get the tread nice and wide and flat, plus pick up about an inch of blade height. Traction is really good, better than the stock tires ever were. I bought the "V" profile tread, instead of the "S" tread on the stock tires. I don't turf the yard at all, the traction is significantly improved, and the ride quality is much better. I cleaned the wheels up really well prior to mounting, and so far, they hold air well.I suppose you could say that the increased diameter of the tire might stress the hydrostatic drives. That's valid, although I don't abuse this mower and don't mow with the handles shoved to the stops. I don't anticipate any issues.Remains to be see how these will wear, but so far so good.
